Nozzle

A nozzle controls the discharge pattern from a hose, from a straight jet for reach to a protective fog for heat absorption and screening.

NFPA 1964 covers spray nozzles used in fire fighting service.

Rated flow is quoted at a stated inlet pressure – compare nozzles at the same pressure, and confirm the thread matches the hose coupling.
