Effective 1 September 2026. These terms govern all orders placed with Rapid Advice & Distribution Services (RADS) through this website.
1. Orders
An order placed through this website is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order and accept payment. We may decline an order, for example where an item is unavailable or a price has been listed in error.
2. Payment
All orders are prepaid in full. Goods are not dispatched until payment has been received and cleared. We do not offer credit terms through this website.
Payment is processed through SSLCOMMERZ. We do not receive or store your card or banking credentials.
3. Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT).
- Listed prices are inclusive of AIT (Advance Income Tax).
- VAT is added at checkout and shown separately before you confirm your order.
The total payable, including all applicable taxes, is displayed before payment. Prices may change without notice, but the price confirmed at the time your order is accepted is the price that applies to that order.
4. Delivery and risk
RADS bears the risk of loss or damage to goods while they are in transit. Risk passes to you on delivery.
Delivery timescales are confirmed at the time of order and depend on stock availability and destination. Estimated delivery dates are given in good faith but are not guaranteed, and we are not liable for losses arising from delay.
You must inspect goods on delivery. Damage or shortage must be reported in accordance with our Returns, Replacement & Warranty Policy.
5. Cancellation and changes
Orders cannot be cancelled once placed. An order may be modified — for example a change of specification, quantity or delivery address — provided the request is made before dispatch and we confirm the change in writing. Any resulting price difference is payable before dispatch.
6. Returns and warranty
Returns, replacements and warranty cover are governed by our Returns, Replacement & Warranty Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: we do not accept returns except where the wrong item was delivered, and warranty applies only to UL, FM, LPCB or VdS listed products for one year from delivery confirmation.
7. Limitation of liability
Once goods have been sold and delivered, our liability is limited to the warranty set out in our Returns, Replacement & Warranty Policy.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of contracts, business interruption, or the cost of removing or reinstalling goods. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Installation and suitability
Fire protection and life-safety equipment must be selected, installed, commissioned and maintained by competent persons in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and the applicable standards and regulations.
Unless we have been separately engaged to design or install a system, you are responsible for confirming that the goods ordered are suitable for your intended application. Product listing or approval by UL, FM, LPCB or VdS applies to the product as supplied and does not extend to installation carried out by others.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have exclusive jurisdiction.
