Conventional Multi Detector

The Context Plus XP95 multisensor detector contains an
optical smoke sensor and a thermistor temperature
sensor whose outputs are combined to give the final
analogue value.

This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Description

The multisensor construction is similar to that of the optical detector but uses a different
lid and optical mouldings to accommodate the thermistor temperature sensor. The
sectional view (below) shows the arrangement of the optical chamber and thermistor.
The signals from the optical smoke sensing element and the temperature sensor
are independent, and represent the smoke level and the air temperature
respectively in the vicinity of the detector. The detector’s microcontroller processes
the two signals. The temperature signal processing extracts only rate of rise
information for combination with the optical signal. The detector will not
respond to a slow temperature increase – even if the temperature reaches a high
level. A large sudden change in temperature can, however, cause an alarm without
the presence of smoke, if sustained for 20 seconds.
The processing algorithms in the multisensor incorporate drift compensation. The
control panel must not have a drift compensation algorithm enabled.
The sensitivity of the detector is considered the optimum for most general
applications since it offers good response to both smouldering and flaming fires.

Conventional Multi Detector is a emergency exit & rescue equipment. RADS Fire imports it and supplies it in Bangladesh.

What Conventional Multi Detector does

This is fire protection equipment that RADS Fire supplies in Bangladesh. It forms part of a system rather than working alone, so it has to suit the design it goes into.

Approvals and standards

Ask us for the datasheet and, where the item carries one, the certificate. We would rather send the document than describe it, because on fire equipment the paperwork is the specification.

Fire protection work in Bangladesh follows BNBC 2020 alongside the relevant NFPA standard, and both expect listed equipment installed to its listing.

Choosing the right emergency exit & rescue equipment

Tell us the size, the duty and the approval your specification calls for, and we will confirm the right variant before you order. On fire equipment the difference between two similar part numbers is often the listing, and that is the part an inspector will check.

Buying Conventional Multi Detector in Bangladesh

We import the range ourselves, so the paperwork comes from the maker rather than from a reseller. We also design and install emergency exit & rescue equipment as part of a complete package, and then inspect it each year under a maintenance contract. See equipment supply, installation and annual maintenance, or ask us for a price.

You can also browse other emergency exit & rescue equipment we supply.

We supply against a written quotation, and we deliver across Bangladesh. Listed products carry a twelve month warranty from confirmed delivery, covering manufacturing defects; items that are not listed are supplied without one. The full terms sit on our terms and returns pages, so there are no surprises after the order.
